Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting My new pistol

A better understanding

We've had a honey hole in 62 that has produced 8 bulls in the past 5 years for my brother and me. Well last year a new outfitter (Dark Timber, used to be Hyatt Outfitters) pushed so many dudes into the area that we did not see a single bull (I didn't see an elk). We found lean up stands and signs of heavy hunting from all the previous seasons and several guides and dudes (we hunt 3rd modern gun).

So, anyone have any advice from you 62 hunts. We're looking for a new spot. PM's are welcome.

Thanks

My son and I have bow hunted unit 76 for the past 7 or 8 years. (north of Pagosa Springs)

I guess it has been too hot to move any Elk to the area where we hunt 10,000'.

We too will be looking for a new place to hunt next year.

I'm thinking somewhere around Crested Bute (north of Gunnison).

Have you heard of any good hunting up there? We are national forest self do it hunters.

This year we were skunked again. More hunters than Elk.
