Has anyone got pictures of how to remove the locking pin that holds the column shifter in Park until the Brake pedal is depressed?
My column shifter is becoming temperamental.

The valve body is fairly new, and the column shifter locks in place only sometimes, so I thinking it was the interlock.
PS. I like the idea of using the bullet design detent in the valve body.

On some vehicles you can get the shifter out of park by turning the key to the unlock position put your foot on brake and shift to neutral and start in neutral. I did this many times, working the auto club road service, if the brake switch was flaky.
