I have ordered a FASS and a aux. tank/toolbox combo. Does I understand it correctly; I think to run the aux tank with the FASS system, and hook it on to the VP44 via a double banjo coupling, where the stock fuel enters, and two solinoids on each fuel line.

In that manner I can choose from either tank or both at the same time(enough fuel... ), by switching a button.

My question is simply; Is the FASS a COMPLETE system, or does it require the stock fuel filter?

The mods are(mounted and ordered) 00 2500 4WD, 4" exhaust, aFe cold air kit with ram air, Hi-ram air intake, DD2 Injectors, JRE stage 2 clutch, Edge Comp. box, Snow water/methanol, and Gauges

I'm surprised no one has answered this yet.

The FASS is a complete system from what I have researched, heard, read, etc. In fact, some remove the lift pump and the stock fuel filter completely from the truck and run the outlet line from the FASS directly into the VP44.

So no stock fuel filter required unless you want the stock Water In Fuel function to work.

I agree. Follow the directions bypass the stock filter completely. I put mine on about a month ago. Tinkered with different combinations and found the direct hookup the best for me.

Thanks guys, thats what I suspected. In that case I can proceed with my system. For others who want to do a twin; Bosch deliveres 12v soliniods to switch on/off. Lookes almost original down with the VP44... :)
