I have a plate and a boost elbow already, transmission will be all better in a while, what is the correct order for bombing? Could I get get a few responces please? It is taking a lot of sacrifice to go up to B. C. to get my baby fixed up. I will only let the best touch my truck :D . Piers and Bill K. qualify I think . I think I want new injectors, 4000 rpm gov. springs (or are 3000's good enough), 4" pipe, 16cm exh. housing, and anything else you all say is manditory. BTW thanks to slybones for the reply to my other post:) :) :) .

Bombing

Since you all ready have a plate ,the 370 injectors from Piers are the next best step after you get your transmission beefed up to handle more power:D

The set up I have right now works really well. Because your is an auto you might also look into delivery valves.

What do you want to do with the truck? How much power ya got now and how much do you want to make?

What is your goal?

If your like me, ya just wanna go faster and have more power for fun and excitement.

Auto trucks have smaller delivery valves so before adding or while adding performance injectors, add the delivery valves as well (the 1. 91's) this will smooth idle and increase power.

Piers has a smokin deal on 370 marine injectors right now.

Personally I used the extrude honed DD3's. They make a tad less power (around 8HP less)but are of top quality.

Transmission mods are gonna be the first thing your gonna want to do to hold the power. Bill K stuff is good as well as the Goerend Bros.

Torque convertor, valve body and I had a 47RH that had a cruddy 2nd gear band from the factory. I dont know if you have the RH or what. I just know my second gear band broke several times in a few hundred thousand miles.

There are alot of good vendors out there to talk to about upgrades.

If ya got the bucks to throw at it, it will give ya good and very reliable platform that is all kinds of fun!!!

Don~

As long as you are going north call Piers and ask him whats the best way to go. You cant get better advice than that and his experience is far beyond most when it comes to high performance.

Have Fun
