Like to thank those whom replied. I also would like to know where is the best place for Engine block heater, electric type - plug in. I seen the oil pan pad type , not sure what I thnk of that.

Ordered the K&N Filter Kit and maybe for Christmas the son has some gauges in mind, these tk driver guys must have every gauge made. First add-on will be running boards w/lights to go with the black trim.

One more question, to get some sharpness out of the ride, would the helper spring removal give a better ride, do alot of daily driving with no weight involved. I will go with the air bags after.

You sound as though you don't already have a block heater. Raise the hood and look for a cord with capped plug near the passenger side of the radiater/charge-air cooler area.

I would go with a coolant heater rather than the oil pan pad type. The coolant is in the entire engine, not just the pan, so it will work better. The OEM block heater is a good one, but probably expensive. I would think you could get one very similar for a reasonable price. I replaced my shocks with the Rancho 9000 adjustables and it made a big difference in ride quality. The adjustable shocks give you the option of softer or firmer response according to what you want and what kind of load you have on. It will be difficult to get the ride much softer than factory with a 3500, but good shocks will definately help. Good luck with the new truck.
