All,

Would like to hear about your good/bad experiences if you've done the upgrades I'm planning for my truck:



1. Installing two Fast Coolers on my trans. On one of them, installing a PTO cover from Standard Transmission (like the one shown in the latest TDR magazine on pg 84).



2. Installing a Mag-Hytec cover on the rear end.



I hope to pull my 5er a lot this year, and expect these two upgrades to help longevity. Thanks in advance for the comments,

I don't think there's any down side to those mods and heck, I'd be thrilled to buy a used truck with those goodies. Go for it!

Fast coolers and an aluminum cover did work as advertised in my truck... just did a 250 mile trip at 70mph, trans never got over 150*F and the rear was only 120*F when I checked it.
