Now that you have the P7100 and the fantastic 215 hp engine, you can do some major playing. The #12 TST should dyno about 235 hp, the #11 about 280. The #10 about 340 on the Dynojet.

PUT IT IN THE STOCK POSITION. Mark and I spent hundreds of hours, pump stand runs, and dozens of dyno runs on these plates. Don't try to outthink the research that went into them or you will get screaming hot egts. Please, folks! I have the torque plate on Sickly at 0. 120" back from forward = centered. It is actually 0. 025" back from the stock position. Sickly dyno'ed at 510. 7 hp. Forrest, if you aren't happy with your #11 in the stock position, get a #10. It will retain some egt control at higher rpm, and in stock position will give you more mid range torque than the 11 forward. If you want more fueling up there, its time for the Superturbo and maybe head porting to keep egt down. High egt, even for a few seconds, can and does crack the head at the valve seats.

Thanks for listening. I'm just trying to help your Rams live long enough to beat those pesky drofs.

The 215HP engine actually has a really sick torque curve. The fuel starts out high and just keeps dropping. Since you're doing serious work with this truck, I'd be inclined to change the torque plate over to the 230hp/600ft-lbs model from Bosch. It'll save you a few bucks from the aftermarket, and it really does run great. only 15 more horsepower, but it pulls loads very well.

Joseph D. is on the case. His remarks about the fuel plate are accurate and true. Don't fool around trying to "improve" the fueling delivery rate by advancing the plate beyond the stock position. Get a more aggressive plate if you must.
A Bosch uprated plate would certainly work toward more "earnest" fueling, but a kit from TST, JRE, or BD is not all that costly considering the complete parts package delivered. The fuel plate, positioning template, boost line fitting, and a good set of instructions are included in the "kit".

Thanks for the upgrade info... . But for now I have a warrenty. I'm gonna get some miles on this thing. After breakin and some running I'll look into upgrading. Right now I'm looking more into a transmission swap as the Getrag is still sounding like Carp. And after 2 trannys..... well I will not be going the Getrag route again. Thanks guys, Mike
