Commercials are so long and so frequent that the shows I was wanting to watch have become the commercial. I stopped watching regular TV years ago because of that...

Same here KATOOM. My wife and I do the streaming thing with a Chromecast and old non-speaker equipped Firestick. I found a free to use app with a lot of the older movies and TV shows that has a few commericials, but it runs them in blocks of 2-3 per movie or episode so not too annoying. And of course you can pay to get no ads.

Exactly. We dropped out cable, or was it satellite??, around 8 years ago and have never looked back. We have a digital antenna in the attic that's hooked up to our TV's for local TV but that's RARELY used. Heck the TV's aren't even used that much.

Netflix better pick up the pace though because I'm tied of fumbling through b-rated movies, anime, and weird foreign shows.

That they had. Some things they have anymore are best left un-seen. The free app I like is called Tubi.
