wondering if anybody is running a comp box and ultra mega mentals out there, i have a comp box and want more (this s#$@ is very adictive) and this seems like my next step? any body have any ideas please let me know:D :D :D

Those injectors arent for the average joe. They are for nitrous use and racing application. With an expensive modified pump. The super mentals are at the ragged edge of streetability. Some people do run bigger. But its not something you do in a tree lover community. I ran super mentals with a drag comp and its more power than most people would use or need. The cost of getting there isnt cheap. transmission mods. Turbo upgrade. Fuel system upgrade. Exhaust upgrade. Intake upgrade. w injectors your talkin 5 grand easy. I also updated the u joints to some sturdier units. No failures i can relate with the big stuff. Engine, rear end, transmission, tcase and drivelines all held. I wore the friction material off of my limited slip. It chirps a bit.

I blew a transmission with just the 275s and one of the original plug in powers. transmission was in great shape. Had it looked at when it had 85k on it. I blew it up at 102k. The od gears disintegrated while I was in reverse(everyone who saw the pit said it was a worthy adversary, it cost 24 dollars for me to wash the mud off the truck). transmission guy took the dead transmission in exchange for the R&R and a valve body rebuild. Not a bad deal I figure. I got a junk yard transmission that now has 180k on it. 50k of em with me.

big injectors would be 275's, I'm just trying to figure out what my next step is with out making the mistake of not going big enough the first time, like buying the 275's not something bigger. i was planning on buying a ez but was talked into spending the money and getting the comp, this was good and bad at the same time, i hooked up that damn'd old pump wire and i can now honestly say i know how a crack head feels " MORE, I NEED MORE, MUST HAVE IT :D " i'm not set on ultra mega mentals, mainly i'm looking for some more good advice like " just get the comp, its worth the money:D :D :D "

If you go bigger tahn 3's, your looking at major mod's. ie: clutch, turbo, fuel system to name a few... .

yes i do have a set of mega mentals for sale check out the classifieds & email me. you will want to go with alot bigger turbo & fuel system upgrades are a must. your right though this stuff is addicting. kurt.

between the CHP and the damn liberals you live by I might suggest you buy them to play with and run the 275's for daily...

but for sure if you haven't put in a larger turbo, a B1 or larger will be needed and suggest a clutch before anything as your stocker will be toast in about 100 yards... :p

is your 4"er from turbo back or are you still 3x4 assuming you still have stock turbo... that will need a new down pipe also

as BFC stated a upgraded fuel system for sure. . suggest a PE pump and -6 minimum lines with all -6 AN fittings at the ends and get rid of banjo bolts

I ran the DDII'S and the HX35 for about a year great combo. I went to the BD Step#5'S and the HX40 PDR. This is a every day driver. Not alot more smoke over the II,S but I can break the tires loose on dry pavement when shifting to 2nd which I could not do with the other setup. Think BIGBIG
