Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Comp box DRAG up-grade?

I have been told you can send in the comp and have it upgraded to a drag comp... true? How much?

yes you can upgrade,i believe i paid $125 , pulls ALOT harder feuling to redline... ... ... i would do it again in a heartbeat

I think its $125 I know it was $100 to upgrade my juice to the hot but you have to mail in the comp.

It is $125 & well worth it. The only difference is that on 5x5 the comp defuels @ 2700. The Drag Comp fuels to 3200. The extra revs can make you or break you in a race.

When I called edge about this not only do you get an extra 500 rpm before defueling It also has according to them a lot better torque curve than the regular comp.

The bottom and mid range are supposed to be the same. Only above 2700 does the "hot" really kick in.

Do you have a torque chart to show? after all we are running diesels I want to see the real working # TORQUE.

If the torque was higher there would be more HP down lower. They are directly related. This gramp shows that there is almost no difference until 2700RPM.
