Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) comparing plates

ok here is how it goes bought truck I installed tst #8 plate big improvement over stock (got addicted) installed installed 300hp marine injectors didn't notice much power but got rid of lag between shifts then installed a #4 plate and felt like I lost most of my tourque but added alot of hourse power. ok now for the 1st question IS this right ??????







now for the comparsion I got brave this last weekend and riped out my plate



here is what I noticed:

1. not much more power if any

2. EGT's didn't get higher but got there quicker

3. at 70-75 the ENGINE is quite I love it

now did any else notice this stuff??

and what are the advantages and disadvantages of NO PLATE?????

the last thing i want to do is start another "take your plate out" thread I'm still reading that one.

I was just wondering if anyone has noticed any of this stuff more about the #4 plate no plate and lose of tourque
