Compass and Temp

I just purchased a 2007 Truck, I wanted a Compass and outside temperature and thought since it has an overhead console that it would have these features but I was wrong. Has anyone ever upgrade one of these? Will it be possible to upgrade or will it require a replacement? Approxmate Cost?? Thanks in advance, Mike

Not sure about the 07, but i had a 02 and wanted to do the same thing and was told, Dodge does not included the wire harnnes to the console unless the temp gauge is installed at the factory.
