Compatability of 2003 wheels on older trucks?

Does anyone know if the 17" Wheels off a 2003 will fit 2nd generation Rams. I don't think it should be a problem with either the rear disc brake trucks or the older drum brake trucks. The only issues I could see would be with the front ends and brake/steering/suspension components. Just curious.

It will be okay. The eight-lug pattern on the 2003 is compatible with the older models. The brake configuration shouldn’t matter.
