I am selling my COMPLETE set of EMS free spin hubs. They have the bigger 35 spline outer axels. I had these on my 2007, 5.9, 6 speed stick truck.
These hubs were 100% trouble free. I replaced them with a set of Dynatrac free spin hubs. There is NO MORE than 100 miles with the hubs LOCKED. I installed them mainly for better freeway fuel mileage (1.5mpg better) AND to have LOW range reverse with my G-56 for towing. The grease is still red on the bearings. These have the ABS rings installed and the place to mount the ABS sensor from your truck. NO RUST. I used anti seize when I first installed them.
I am asking $1000 FIRM. I will help in getting them shipped.
PM me here, email: gorman21@yahoo.com Phone 805-466-6858 10:00AM- 8:00PM PACIFIC TIME

I replaced them because a year ago or so I ran a group buy on the Dynatrac hubs and because I bought several sets, I got a real good price for myself. The Dynatrac hubs, with their lockout covers, don't stick out as much. My ad states that the EMS were 100% trouble free. At the time I bought the EMS hubs, I couldn't afford the Dynatrac.

Aright you two!! Go to your rooms now!!!

I myself, was curious as to the reason you wanted to sell such a flawless item. I'm just glad that I didn't question you first.

I didn't really feel like getting "yelled at" for asking a simple question was justified and I'm sure that mfurrh55 didn't either FWIW. :-laf

Not that it really matters, but I also feel that asking why a used item, or even barely used part, item was removed or replaced on a truck is a more then fair question in a for sale thread.

FURTHERMORE (oops …lol) in terms of using capital letters, I am OFTEN guilty of using them for emphasis in a paragraph, though I never mean to be shouting at someone, all internet protocol aside. ALSO, sometimes the cap lock button sticks and its NOT WORTH RETYPING…kinda just like this sentence.

All that being said, this is a fair price on a good quality, lightly used free spin kit.

You should expect that sort of attitude from someone who posts his ad in 3 different places, including a post in a help category just to suck you in.

I posted it in several places because some people, including myself don't watch the classifieds every time I open the TDR. I appologized for my actions with mfurrh55 and I sure didn't realize that placing an ad would cause such problems with a few people. I'm going in for a major fusion surgery on my back in a few weeks and am trying to raise some money for outside expenses....That's all. Sorry for irritating the few.

Good luck with the surgery. I believe you were a UPS driver for years. When I went in for back therapy,UPS,beer truck drivers, and construction laborers were always being treated.

SOLD the hubs to a member. I had my back surgery 23 days ago and am happy to report that I am almost pain free!!! I PM'd mfurr55 and we chatted and I appologized. He offered to keep me in prayer.

FWIW, my interactions with Motorhead have been great, and he seems to be a real good guy and member of our group. It is so easy to get spun up with the internet, misunderstanding or misinterpreting something that would have been clear in person. All you guys could come to May Madness and share some beverages together :)

Thanks Guys!!! If any of you guys ever need back surgery or some sort of spine surgery, UCLA and Dr Duncan McBride is TOPS! I darn near gave up after my wife and I drove 400 miles round trip to Stanford 2 months earlier to see the "Best of the Best" back Dr to just hear from him in FIVE short minutes, "There is nothing I can do for you" I asked him if he read any of my reports from various Drs and the MRI tech and he said "I don't read reports" As he was making his quick exit, I asked him why I had so much pain in my legs? He said, "I don't know" What a JACK *****!
I have been seeing a great chiropractor for a while and he refered me to UCLA. In my
pessimistic view, after chasing this back thing for 30 years, I almost didn't go!
My Wife and I got into the car and drove 200 miles, one way, to "The LAST house on the Block", UCLA, met Dr McBride and first thing he tells me was He could help me and said that he gave me AT LEAST 80% chance that I would be pain free!!! I am just about as Happy as a CLAM at high tide! It has taken a wonderful woman in my life, My Wife of 37 years, 43 together, to keep pushing me to go the distance to find a QUALIFIED, cutting edge Doctor that had the SMARTS and the willingness to help me!! Thank God I listened to Her.

People who are blessed with a pain free back don't realize how excruciating it can be.
Good show Chris and I hope the fix gives you a lifetime of painfree use.
