Simple question:

Have complete new a/c system and my new Denso compressor comes with 210cc of "correct type" of pag oil (just for those who may ask).

Question is can I leave all oil in the compressor and pull a vacuum / pressure test / then vacuum again and charge??

ie: charge high side after vacuum / followed by finishing on low side / etc / etc.

Manual states 180 cc is a system "fill" put does not talk about compressor at all.. States XX oz in evaporator / condenser / accumulator !!

So the "other" 30cc from 180cc to 210cc ( one oz for the compressor ?? )

If all components have been replaced (evaporator, accumulator, condenser and compressor and the 210cc is the recommended oil charge for your system, then yes, leave the oil in the compressor when it is installed. And you can pull vac. check for leaks and then charge system. I would do all the charging through the low side just to keep from having the chance for air to enter while switching ports. bg

Will guess that's the issue.. Its clear as mud .. 180cc or 210cc.

Manual states about the parts "other" then compressor.. But no mention of compressor..

Total system fill is 180 ml or 6 oz. If the compressor has 210 ml, drain 30 ml from the compressor and install. I'm assuming you replaced all the parts and also flushed or drained the lines.

Thanks.. I just was about to post.. Went back and read the PDF again - and yes 180cc

total 180cc

accumulator 2 oz
condenser 1 oz
Evaporator 2 oz

the hidden 1 oz not spoken of is the compressor :)

The system is totally new, everything and anything. So no - I didn't flush.. All the lines are new~
