Since purchasing and beginning the resurrection of a 2001 Dodge RAM 2500 2WD 5 speed manual LWB pickup, I am emerging from the tunnel into what I hope is years of bright lighted future.

Here is a list of items repaired/replaced:

Engine from a wrecked 2001 that had 149,000 miles on OD (St. James Salvage, Missouri)
New Serpentine Belt
New front and rear crankshaft seals
New Transmission Output Seal
Rebuilt Alternator
New Filters
New Clutch
Used Drive Shaft - Back half was bent (A friends Salvage Yard)
New Universal Joints
New Ball Joints Upper and Lower
New Front Hubs with bearings
New Brake Pads
New Shocks
New Muffler
New 19.5" Tires
New 400 Watt Amplifier for Pioneer Radio that was in truck - (Amazon.Com)
Resealed Differential Cover - Dana 80, 3.54, Limited Slip
New Windshield
Charged the A/C System - Cold Air!!
Used Instrument Cluster Bezel (eBay)
New Parking Brake Handle (Genos Garage)
New Sun Glasses Compartment Door (Genos Garage)
New Dorman Window Crank

Most of the items would be considered routine maintenance. The truck has 257,800 miles on the OD. I have put 1,000 miles on it since getting the engine swap. It runs and drives great!

Added a few tools to my shop
10 Ton Press
Transmission Jack
24 Volt Kobalt 1/2" Impact
Metric and SAE Swivel impact Sockets

This time off due to the COVID-19 virus is expensive but productive.
