Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Compression Adaptor for 2nd Gen 12 Valve?

Hey guys - I'm trying to find a compression adaptor a '94 - '98 12 Valve. The Snap-on 12 Valve adaptor appears to be for a 1st Gen motor but I'm not that all familiar with the 12V injectors so it might work for all I know.



The part number I have is M3584 and here's a pic:

For Case/Cummins Series "B" 2. 9L, 3. 9L, and 5. 9L diesel engines.

Additional Description:

These compression adaptors are for use with the MT33C Compression Gauge on page E21.​

It is included with the 12V service set that is for Pre-1994 motors according to Snap-on.

It should work. They probably thru in a bushing typ adaptor to work on earlier 12vs as they have a larger (i believe) thread size for the injectors compaired to the 92+ 12v's.

As far as I know, you only get what is shown in the picture. I don't think there is any bushing included.



Now that I know that the injectors have different thread sizes, and since it is included in the Pre-1994 service kit, I wouldn't think that it would work on '94 - '98 motors.



Anyone else know anything about these compression adaptors?

So will it also work on the 1st Gen motors as well as the 94-98 12V?

Yes it will work the thread difference on the earlier engines is where the injector lines attach not in the head.
