Compustar automatic starter

ANyone wlse have one of these in their six speed?? I finally found someone that would install a automatic starter on a manual. It is sweet!!! Half mile range, hooked up to the glow plug light, sends a signal back to your reemote to tell you if it started or not. Also has a timer on it, shows if the doors are open or unlocked. Also has a turbo mode so when you do get out it runs for 2 extra minutes then shuts off. Hated getting in a cold truck to go plow at 3am!!

Hey Garret, can you tell me what model Compustar that you installed, where you got it and if you installed it yourself. I was looking at their WAMS-1 remote start only (one way) which is plenty for me, but I do like the idea of the turbo cool down option. Also wondering if yours will not start if it senses that that the transmission was left in gear. Thanks for taking time to reply. Clark

Hated getting in a cold truck to go plow at 3am!!

so do i... but even if my truck had been idling for 30 min, it won't be warm in the cab. . i so want an espar [maybe a webasto]
