HAPPY BIRTHDAY SLundvall !!!!!

Eight inches of snow here and it is the middle of May

I'm trying to fill out a job application. It's online in .pdf format, I've saved it but the trouble is, it won't let me type directly onto the document. I've tried opening it w/ other programs w/ no luck. Is it possible to do this? Or do I have to print it out and just do it the old fashioned way? Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, a .pdf file is a non editable program format. Essentially it is a "picture" of a document, drawing etc... You would need to import it into another program that would allow you to "draw" words onto it. I use AutoCad to do this when needed.

You will need to print it out, then fill it in.

You can download the Acrobat reader with copy-paste functionality (yours may already have it now).

Go into the PDF and hit Edit, then Select All. This will usually select all of the text, and mebe some graphics. Then hit Control-C, to copy all highlighted info. Go into your fav word processor and paste the info into that. This might be enough to do what you want, I dunno. .

good luck

You can do it if you have the pdf editor otherwise it's cut and paste.

Check out Adobe's website. They may have something on there for you.
