Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) computer codes

First time user this website has everything, hope someone can answer this... . I have a 2001 with an automatic that will not shift unless you let off the pedal, I'm also getting a code number of 0753. Does anyone have any suggestions or know what the code is?
