I have a 93 and it won't shift into overdrive. Also the check engine light is flashing and my isspro tach is going crazy. I have replaced the tps and no change. I am wondering if it is something computer related.
Cycle your ignition swith as follows: on-off-on-off-on (on = run position, not start ) count the flashes of the check engine light & post them back here.
The check engine light is always on due to the fact that I put an external regulator on the alternator when the one in the computer quit working. I have the truck at a good local mechanic who is going to run a scanner on it to hopefully find out exactly what is going on.
Update... ... ... ... The crank sensor was bad. That is why it would not shift into overdrive. As far as the air conditioner and tach not working, that is somthing else electrical that we are trying to figure out
