2002 ram 3500 120k on clock Had chronic computer problems since 60,000 miles. often no bus, intermittent gauges, new PCM after truck was stuck in limp mode 3rd gear. That isn the problem now again, truck stuck in 3rd gear and "no bus" Is p pumping a truck a way to get around these computer issues? If so how hard is it and does anyone sell the parts necessary in one nice package?

Not usually. Actually p pumping can bring on a whole slew of new problems to go along with the old ones you will still have to deal with. Since you have a 47RE you are still attached to the PCM which controls functions of the transmission.
What other codes are you getting when you actually have a connection.

I've used these guys to rebuild/repair ECMs in the past when cost or availability was an issue. The main benefit to sending it off is for the testing prior to repair...it sort of helps confirm troubleshooting.
