I'm not sure this belongs here, please feel free to move it if need be.
Does anyone work on the computers on these?
When I had my 2012 VW TDI there was a small group of individuals who modded the factory computers.

All I want done is the bump up the low oil pressure alarm so it dont go on so damn soon. (25++psi)
I've gone through a bunch of senders (factory and aftermarket) and I confirmed I have good pressure.
The way these leave the factory, it's idling at almost 1000rpm. It's now at a more realistic 650, but unless I slip the hell outta the clutch, the alarm sounds every time I take off from a stop.
I cant imagine it's terribly difficult for someone that knows about such things. I'd rather NOT chop into the factory harness & fiddle with resistors etc etc.
I'm losing my sanity......

Maybe cause I'm viewing on my "stupid phone", I don't see a signature, so not sure what you truck is. But, I connected with a guy in Seattle area to look after my daughter's car and was telling him (on my truck) that the cruise range is 35 - 85 and won't function outside of those parameters. He said he could connect his laptop up and with the software he had he could adjust/change just about any factory settings. Point being if this guy can do it I'm sure he's not all alone. As for someone local to me no idea.

You need to provide details about your truck. The oil pressure sender can return a voltage (the pressure) or be a switch (pressure or not). It depends on the year and software version in the ECM. If your truck has a switch then the gauge shows a fake value.

In early years owners complained the oil pressure dropped to [almost] zero when accelerating so Chrysler changed the sender to a switch and added some damping to the oil gauge to hide the drop.
