Time to order my clutch (yes I have been stalling) I do tow with my truck I have a 13,000lb 5th wheel that I'm trying to sell. The one we are going to keep is less than 7000lbs. The only other long term mods I have in mind are RV 275, with an Edge EZ. Of course this could change :-laf

What do you guys think Con O or OFE

Thanks Jim

I am running my Con O, LOVE IT. Smooth break in and able to hold those horsies and maintain the torque. But on the other side, my buddie has the OFE and SWEARS  by it. I would say if you tow more then just bobtailin, take the CON O, if not, OFE..... MHO. ;)

Regards

John

I'm sure that the conO drives much like the stock clutch. However, I think it's better to have a little growing room. It sure wouldn't be fun to buy the conO, then add some HP and wind up needing the OFE. I'm running an OFE and it's not bad. A little grabby, but really not bad. I would look at the HP/torque ratings of each clutch compared to what you would reasonably expect from your truck with the 275's and EZ.

I have an OFE and it is a little bit grabbier than stock but not much. It is EASILY usable for towing and will hold tons of power. It was my fist upgrade from the stock clutch and havn't looked bcak in 6 years!!!

New clutch installed finally!

I drove my truck for the first time in months. WOW what a difference. I broke down and payed a shop to do the work, well they called me when they had it apart they could not believe that my clutch disc had exploded the only thing in tact was the outside of the disc where the lining is. I saved it. . lol With the new South Bend Clutch along with the hyd upgrade and the new pedal shaft, I have the easiest shifting truck I could ask for. I have the pedal adj so it is fully engaged at about 4 inches off the floor and it takes little effort to push down the pedal. Before the pedal was all the way to the floor and my left leg was twice as big as the right.

Thank you SBC Keep up the good work!

So which one didya get?? The conO or conOFE??

The 275/EZ will put you right at the 300hp mark... ... ... .

You must be reading my mind, because those are next on the list after a 4" MBRP

I could get all three for what I have into the new clutch and hyd. :-laf
