Can someone please post pics of their factory steering stabilizer?

Looking for a pics of the factory setup on a 1995 2500 4WD. Mine somehow does not look factory.

I have a 97 but I have a few pics of it. Mine appears to have added a 2nd stabilizer. When I added shocks I replaced the stock ones with rancho's. I recall a TSB for front end wobble on 95 (I think) that showed adding the 2nd stabilizer that is on my 97.

My truck has 2 factory stabilizers on it. Like the pics above. Not sure on the brand of them, though. Guessing dealer supplied. Were near new when I bought the truck used.

Here are a few crappy pics of mine. I thought the 96 and newer steering system was different than 95'.

I'll go out on a limb here and say that you have a "home made" dual stabilizer setup. If the brackets are welded to the frame and the 3rd picture is of an angle iron drop from the drag link, I think someone tried to cure the death wobble the Irish way.

The stabilizer should ride with the suspension as a unit and not to the frame only.

Oh, that lower one is sooo toast!

Are you trying to get replacements or set it up right?

I have higher than normal steering effort and also a slight wander, not when hitting bumps however, but rather just cruising down the highway and having difficulty keeping in the lanes. I also have lots of loose tie rods and joints that will need to be addressed once warm weather comes, but mostly I am interested in returning it to factory.

I read on here they changed the steering system to an over-under type in a certain year, like in 97' I think. What years have the same exact setup as my 95?

If you do anything, start by removing the lower stabilizer, it looks like it is rusted solid. Then have someone move the steering wheel back and forth while you observe the FE components. The wander you are experiencing is probably from a loose track bar or steering box problem.

I can't help with returning it to stock as I have no experience with a 95.

With the condition shown in the pictures I would also inspect the trailing arm bushings for excessive play.
