slow gettin back to ya... busy... .

No, unfortunatly this is not my first. Last one went out before had my guages and took out my vp as well, ouch. That one lasted almost 80k, this one less than 5k? Little harder on the lift pump now with the mods though. I don't drive with the tst on most of the time now, ddIIs keep me happy and provide power I need unless someone thinks I drive a slow diesel... . Very seriously thinking about upgrading the fuel delivery system as 85% of the time my truck is pulling a trailer. I'm afraid I'm going loose pressure at the wrong time one of these days. I'm watching this board for results of some of the settups TDR guys are using. ;)

cox the best way to buy parts from your cummins dealer is to use your engine # when you order parts. parts # are always changing.

Thats what I ended up doing. New pump will be here tomorrow.

Now for the funny part.

My lift pump is not as weak as I thought it was. My isolator failed. Now pump is showing 14-15psi idle and 5-6 psi wot without the isolator in line... I know, bad to have diesel flowing into the cab. Need the truck by thursday for a trip so I'll replace the isolator next week.

Thanks for the help

Steve
