Hello, ive been looking for the correct torque on the 4 bolts that hold the front bearing hub on , dealer says 149tq, they also say the axle nut (1 1/16th ) is at 175, and the dualley hub adapter is like 85 , can some one please help, i have search other forums also, and thanks for any info... ...

this is on a 2000 3500 4x4 drw, sorry should have said that first:confused:

From my '98 SM, knuckle-to-hub bolt torque is 125 ft-lb and axle nut torque is 175 ft-lb. I wouldn't expect these to change much year-to-year.

I don't see anything in the SM about the dually adapters. You might wish to verify that they should be torqued to 85 lb-ft and *not* the same as the wheels (120-150 lb-ft).

Thank you, i finaly found it in my haynes manual, under clutch and driveline, lol:-laf, as for the dulley adapters, the nuts are like only 5/8 thick compared to my lug nuts , about 1 to 1 1/4 inch:), Thanks again

Hub extension

:)Called dealler and confermed 85 lbs torque, on the hub extension housing, ( dually adapter) , Thanks for the help
