Lost drive shaft ctr support bearing

Hey guys, I have a 2020 2500 and there is a couple of this style connectors up under the dash. I am installing some AMP steps and the instructions said to plug their connector into any vacant slot under the dash with a green connector block.

I have a feeling the instructions are not correct, or detailed enough since there are two wire blocks under the dash the look like this.

I want to move the connector I plugged into the first connector and move it another connector block.

Does anyone know how to release the connector once its plugged into this block?

Its locked in place....

Thanks!

Got it figured out. There is a small square hole with a plastic blade inside. I took a micro scredriver and pushed it to the side, while pulling on the connector and it came out.

Those are called Star Connectors. They are essentially a BUS bar to connect all the modules together. One is for the high speed BUS, the other for the interior BUS. They are a bit of a PITA to get out. The location of the connectors in each Star Connector does not matter, the only location that matters is the end connector that has three wires in it.

Under my dash there is one module of Star Connectors that has two vertical rows on the left side and a second module next to it on the right with one vertical row of connectors. I am installing some Amp electronic running boards and plugged into the module on the right (the instructions from Amp said to use any vacant port to plug in their unit). Turns out it didn't work in that location, after calling them they said there was a change on the 2020 trucks and I have to use the connectors on the left side. It was easy to unplug and move once I figured out how those connectors work. Thanks :)
