2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Connector?

There is a plug connector under my dash right below the ash tray. I can not figure out what the connector goes to. Does anyone know what it is for?

It's for the dealer to hook their computer up to read codes, diagnose problems. Most rigs also have another one under the hood.

Thanks! I have been wondering what the heck that thing was for a while know. The reason I asked was because tomorrow I am going to hook up my brake controller and I thought that I would get rid of that plug and put my brake controller there. I guess that I better find another place for it .
