Connectors to nothing

I was working on the dash of my 2004. I found 2 connectors not connected to anything. Could they be for an option that my truck was not built with. The second has a pink wire a plugs into a housing with nothing in it.

Any Ideas ?

Yes, most likely for options you don’t have.

It’s cheaper to build one all encompassing wiring harness that multiple ones based on trim and options.

I think that's for the passenger air bag override if so equipped. My 03 has the same connector to the right of the radio.

Yes, the one on the pass side is for the airbag switch but what is the other one for? I don't think my truck has that one.
