Considering 5" Exhaust purchase... which one??

I have found 2 5" systems that are under 400 bucks. One on Ebay, and one from Big Exhaust.



Anyone have any input on these 2 systems? Are there any other systems similarly priced? Why are other aluminized systems 200 dollars more from the big companies?



Any downside to a 5" system? I read someone say there was no drone from a 5" mufflerless..... ?????????????

You might do a search here to find about some of the folks that have a drone issue with 5 inch systems, from what I rememebr it's pretty strong etc. The other thing to consider is that a 5 inch will make your off idle torque performance fall of a considerable amount unless you really up the HP ante with your truck. There was an article in the most recent TDR magazine showing that unless you had 500 + rear wheel HP you lose bottom end and didn't really want a 5 inch system.

I don't have a 5inch exhaust, but you might want to check out bullydogs website i know they do 5 in, i'm not sure how much but i know they do it. www.bullydog.com
