I finished the box and got it all mounted on the bike. I put a brushed finish on it and I think it looks great. Totally weather tight and gets the job done. It sure is great to be able to make whatever you need rather than having to find something off the shelf to do what you want and having to compromise.

That is really slick. I totally agree about having the freedom to create whatever you want... WHENever you want.



I made a receiver hitch for the wife's lawn tractor this past summer with my cheap MIG box. It isn't pretty (loaded with spatter from the flux core wire... ) but it's stout, built to MY specs and is an item that simply isn't available over the shelf.
