Who is this Tommygun guy, and why cant I find him on a search? A couple of years ago when I bought a new truck, it seems as though there were a ton of posts on where to go and get some smokin' deals. It seems as though my searches tonight have turned up nothing.



So lets have it, where is the best places to get "the deal" on a new Dodge CTD? I live in Colorado Springs, CO, but would be willing to travel to be able to pick up a new truck if the price was right.

Dishman Dodge is the hot place right now. There's only a few places mentioned that have really great deals on trucks. See the 6. 7L forums for Adam's info at Dishman Dodge.



I don't know it Tomeygun is still around or not. I know he quit selling them for a while.

Dave Smith in Kellogg, Idaho I believe will still make you the best deal. Also not far south of you in Albuquerque is Melloy Dodge. They matched Dave Smith's price when I bought my 05.

Three of us down here in San Diego bought our '07's from Dave Smith. Mine was special order and the other two were dealer stock. Dave Smith has a huge inventory if your looking for dealer stock. Carson Dodge in Carson City, Nevada is also a good place to check. www.carsondodge.com I've done three trucks with Chuck Gillies and have always got a good deal with no hassle. There is another fella there that others like too, but I don't recall his name off hand.

I got a great quote, and excellent customer service from Adam at Dishman. I had been expecting a really nice check that was going to help me with a down payment, but unfortunately the check was smaller than expected, and most of it went to catching up on some bills. I didnt have enough money left over to payout the negative equity (about $5000) on the truck I am currently driving, and I cant afford a payment much higher than I have now ('05 2wd CTD SLT $600/mth). With that said, I have decided to wait for a bit, and see if my finances are in better check later in the year.



Thank you all for the input and suggestions. No doubt though, when I get ready to buy, I will be giving Adam a call.
