Console 06 verses 07

Just when I thought my 06 3500 DRW 4x4 Extended cab Laramie couldn't get any better... . I saw on this forum pictures of the 07 console. Miles ahead of an 06. Nice wood finish... real cupholders... more cubby holes... . let me guess, if I buy the 07 center console, it won't fit in my 06... right. Nothing could be that easy! Anybody want to be the first to say it can't happen?

What is different about the 07 console? The pictures I've seen look the same as my 06.

the console will fit in either truck and they have woodgrain for either truck. The difference is in the package you got with your truck.

You'll have to replace the whole center console though if you want one which probably wouldn't be cheap.

The ral question is will they fit in an 04 with a manual 4x4.
