Ok, I replaced the L/P and said that the F/P in the cab is reading right at 12psi. Well today before I started it, the F/P when to 14, then when I started it, it went to 12 - 12. 5 but it would bouce between 12 and 12. 5, could this be the relief valve in the VP? If so, can I replace it, does it need replaced, how hard is it to replace? You are are saying I need 14psi, but I am not getting that. This is a brand new L/P and I do NOT want to buy a new I/P!

Any help would be nice!

Thanks!

Jake

Where are you getting your readings from, pre or post filter?? When was the last time you changed your filter, it could be dirty. The fluctuations are normal with the needle bouncing a little, if you don't already have some sort of snubber line on with a small t valve this could help the pulsations. I have a t valve on my snubber line that is barely open, this stopped the puslations. I would try a new filter first then go from there, good luck.

One other thing, is it a electrical or mechanical gauge, and where is your sender mounted??

mechanical, on the top, back port closest to the edge of the fuel filter, yes, new filter installed also. I have a t-valve on there, it is open all the way, I will try closing it some. wished I could get the normal readings.

Thanks
