Conversion Question

I know now why I should have paid more attention in school. I'm contemplating a custom fuel tank for the back of my truck. I need to know if anyone can tell me how many cubic inches it takes for a gallon of fuel.

If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

1 US gallon equals 231 cubic inches
