Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) convert 2500 to a duelly

What is involved in turning my 2001 into a duelly, its a six speed 4wd?

Outside of the cosmetic obvious ( dually fenders and wheels) the only two things I know are deferent between the 2500 and 3500 ( at least on the 99 models with rear drums) is the rear brakes are bigger and you need the adapter to attach the front hubs to the wheels.

I am actually looking to convert my 99 dually into a single rear wheel. Maybe we can talk and help eachother out. I will of course have the front wheel adaptors, the correct width rear axle, dually bed etc. Don't know where you are located, I am in Michigan.
