I have searched but can't find info about converting the steering to 1999 HD 8500 GVW specs. Is this possible with a 2WD? Would I need new drag link and are there issues with mounting the idler arm??
 
try to search under "y to t steering". thier has been a few write ups with pictures over the last 2 years. I don't know about 2wd.
