Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Hey guys! I'm new here. I have a '97 2500 with an auto. My trans is acting weird. It is locking and unlocking the trans going through town at 30 MPH. I've never noticed this before and it also seems to feel weird at take off. I had an issue with the speedometer reading way high and bouncing all over yesterday. (like 40 MPH when i was doing 20 and then it would go up from there) Then after doing that for most of my hour trip home, it fixed itself.
Just wondering if a bad VSS can mess with the speedometer and the converter lockup. Thanks.
