Converter packing it in ?

My trans slips moderately in lockup, my attitude monitor is saying 1-8% on all settings including stock. You can actually tell it is slipping. The truck totally puked the trans out at 60k and now I'm at 90k. Could it be they just changed the trans and not the converter ? In any case what is my best bet ? Upgrade the converter and add a shift kit or valve body ? Is it actually the converter slipping ? What about the rest of the trans.



Truck is a 03 HO, 48re, 4x4. w/ Stage 2 and Juice attitude.

yes it is your converter slipping,



i would try and do a whole new trans, it's money well spent,



you could do just a converter and VB but you could break the input shaft and if that happens it will take out the new converter and you will be into a new trans, so try and do it all at once.
