Just added a 92 D350 to the fleet,I have a few questions as this is my first Dodge. Are the dually rearends the same width as the single wheel rearends?Does the front have bolt on adapters or will I have to change the rotors?

I'm thinking about doing just the opposite(single to dual). My understanding is that the dual rear end is wider. I think the only thing you will have to do to the front is take off the adapters.

As I have found out the dually rotors have 9/16 inch wheel studs instead of the 1/2 inch studs the single wheel use. I'm not sure if you can put 9/16 inch studs in the rotors and just use them or not.

dual wheels to single wheels

The rotors/hub assemblies from a D-250 will fit right in place on the D-350.

As for the studs, the holes in the hubs are the same size(9/16). The difference is in the size of the stud at the threaded part(1/2 and 9/16).

The rear axle is wider on the dual wheel axles, but the wheels will fit on the axle.
