Convoy: 'Springs to Greeley

For the folks at/around Colorado Springs, we're forming a Northbound convoy to GAM for those that want to join in.



Here's the route:



COURSE/TIME CORRECTION: I-25 North, through Denver to Graystone Castle at 120th st. Depart Graystone at 7:15, hammer straight North to Loveland, and pick up HW-34 East to Greeley.



We're leaving the 'Springs at 5:45 am, meeting at Gunther Toody's (500 yards West of Powers and Woodman) beforehand, and hammer down to get there just a bit early if we can. If you want to join please post where you are along the route so we can look for you.

Well you're definitely welcome Shay , and in case it hasn't been said yet, thank YOU for setting up the dyno event! This particular event is one that I am happy to be involved with. By the way, I am working a donation from ASA. Granted it'll only fit a 1st gen, but maybe we can hook someone up!



Shall your folks link up with the southern crowd along the way up there? Where'd be a good merger location?

If we hammer down at 6 am we should be there by NLT 7:30. We'll drive straight to the parking lot there, hook up with y'all, and head to GAM. Providing we get there beforehand, let's set 7:30 as a departure time from Graystone to GAM. If we're not there by 7:25 call my cell (I'll PM the # to Shay) and we'll adjust times from there .

I just got to clarify Sam, I WILL be at GAM. I will be at GAM by 7am or so that morning. Since I live right by Greeley, I won't be convoying with ya'll.



I'm going to post this all over the place, so you might have all different brands of trucks coming up together.

Depart Graystone at 7:15 - we'll be there beforehand.



Second - we'll hammer straight up I-25 to Loveland and hang a right onto HW-34 and jam straight into Greeley. We will not be doing I-76/HW-85.

Probably until around 4 pm or so, but you can dyno early and depart early if you want - no worries.



McLaughlin - I'd offer a ride but I already have a co-pilot, sorry dude. No worries - there'll be more.



Game ON - just finished installing both an ATS manifold and a 14cm 'gated housing. The decrease in heat is quite impressive as is the corresponding boost allowance. I never went over 1000* and I was only at ~ 25 psi (transmission was still warming up) but I bet I can hit 35 psi now with ease. The 'gate is set at 40 psi. We'll find out tomorrow. I likey.



Tomorrow, 0545 depart Gunthers, depart Graystone at 0715 - GAM at 8 am, and loads of good friends and good times. Hell yeah
