Cool Blue Hose

Hello, I have a 4. 5 ctd qc,sb,4x4, auto, laramie and would like to put a cool blue hose to replace stock. Which filter flows better or makes more whistle the amsoil 4510 or the drop in type? I can keep or remove the stock air box depending on which flows better. I plan on keeping stock power only want to improve the intake air. Next I will install a 51' donaldson and get rid of the stock muffler. Thank you for any input.
