Check into the one you plan on buying and see if it will throw trouble codes. I bought an Isspro unaware that it only powers up one wire to keep the truck running. Without the other "run" circuits powered you can get trouble codes. The solution was to connect separate circuits together, a solution I find unacceptable. I just got my hands on a heavy duty 12volt dc relay with 4 separate sets of contacts and will use this to keep all the required "run" circuits hot until the temperature is ok to shut off.
Imho the ideal unit would let you choose to shut down based on time or temperature. It would also have a timer for the temperature mode that would keep the truck from running indefinitely. I like the idea of going through the ebrake so the motor shuts off when the ebrake is released. And, of course, it would include all the connectors and wiring to keep all the necessary run circuits hot and separate as DCX meant them to be.
