Just as the title says. I know this is a matter of opinion, but I'm curious to hear comments from people who have or had both. Pics of both also welcomed! :D

I've got the MBRP cool duals but they don't work with airbags. So, I'm either going to have a guy in Trenton re-pipe the tails to clear the bags, or go with dual stacks out the bed making airbag clearance a non-issue!

I like the look of stacks but not the hole in, and difficulties with hot exhaust in, the bed. so I made my own duals with a magnaflow 4" ss into a "Y" pipe after the axle, it made it simple and I put the tails where I wanted them. gets lots of comments as I used 304SS 5 1/2" X 32" slash cut stacks for the dual tips!:D

No rv trailers. Just an enclosed 24' Thule and 30' Gooseneck deck over.

Are they really that loud? How about adding a muffler after the turbo before it turns up in to the bed? No cat.....

I put mine on when I had a single Super B with no muffler. After about 15 minutes on the highway, I'd have a headache. Yes, with no muffler and a single turbo they are very loud. I now have twins with no muffler and the truck has a nice tone to it. Would I do stacks again, no.

The reason I asked about the trailer is for soot stains. I have straight cuts about even with the top of the cab and when I'd pull my 5th wheel it'd get stained with soot. I've tried cleaning with numerous items but the stains won't come out.

try POR15's "marine clean". ;)

I like duals on trucks with a factory style bed, especially DRW. Stacks with a flatbed. Stacks with a factory style bed... well... "if ya can't say anything nice... "

I like the looks of stacks but I love blowing a soot storm into ricers windows as I pass them!:-laf Man I cant wait 'till summer!

I have the MBRP Cool Duals on my truck and I love them. They look cool and sound great (I only have drone when I'm doing about 80 + MPH on the highway). It lowered my EGT's and added a little passing power as well.

The only problem I had was getting both sides (Tips) to look even... . pain in the *****!

Good Luck!

I check mine all the time because I have a tweeked back bumper#@$%!(bought it that way) but when I made them I measured six ways from sunday as crooked tails are a pet peeve of mine.

Haha!!

Yeah!!

I loved my dools when I had them, they just didn't work too well with the twins so I had to go with a 5 inch single, but I did enjoy watching soot come out on both sides of the truck on tailgaters or obnoxious tailgaters.

I just don't want to do stacks b/c it takes up what space I have in my bed. IF you do go stacks, gotta do the 7 inch Bullhorns. Go big or go home!!

why not split to duals after the axle like I did? I'm sure a pair of 4" pipes flows better than a single 5". ;) then you could get 'em on BOTH sides!:-laf

Thats a good idea, I just can't find anyone in my area who works on diesel exhaust. They are all nothing bigger than 3 inch
