By cool I mean around 60*. This started last winter, rough idle for the first couple minutes, check engine light comes on and a 1690 code. Once underway it runs great. If the engine heater was plugged in overnite the startup would be just fine.
This winter a really bad stumble has started every 5-10 sec. for fist few minutes along with the rough idle. The tack has always swung 50 rpm up and down at idle. I know with the code the CKP sensor may be at fault but is there another sensor for temp that would give a bad reading? The grid heater comes on in the mid 50's temperatures.
Two times last winter when the temps dropped to freezing in the morning I could not turn off the DDUFM or change the settings. Pushed all the buttons but nothing would happen. After everything warmed up it worked just fine. Disconnected all the wiring on it except the pump tap and still a rough idle the next morning.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks.
