I don't have novelty art per say. But, I do have some sports memorabilia. Here is one of my favorites. It is a pic of the game wining HR by Bill Mazeroski in game 7 of the 1960 world series. I had it signed by him at a charity golf outing a few years ago.

I think its great... sports memorabilia, history, action caught in a forever memory.

Hope more folks share their treasures.

Most of my stuff is Pittsburgh regional things. Most of the items that I have came from charity events that I have been involved with. I have golfed with Mazeroski at several events over the years. Great guy.

Ok so there’s a park with a playground that I went to often as a child. This park was constructed prewar so it’s architecture is pretty grand with nice buildings and stone arch bridges etc.
today it looks like this. This is a childhood picture in my mind that I’ll carry till the day I die, though the shrubbery has grown.

There was an illustrator/ sports columnist in my local paper Who would doodle various scenes (very well) from various island locations. I found out about 15 years ago, that he ran a framed, colorized series out of a Local gift shop, so I went to have a look.

Well this could have been $1000 and I would have paid it. It’s exactly as I remember it. It hangs in my upstairs hallway.

This is another favorite. I picked it up at a local fence show.

It may look like colored pencil, but it’s really ink. A bazillion little lines about 1/8” long. I bought it from the local artist himself and he explained his process.
