Now THAT'S pretty neat!

Sure wish I could be around long enough to get that many miles on my '02, but unless something catastrophic happens to the truck, it'll outlast ME by a long shot!

Very cool. . my mom is 85 yo and still drives (safely!!) and travels overseas and dances almost all night, though she does NOT work on her own car or have a cwp

The very first car I drove (at 14 years old!) was a 1963 Mercury Comet, slant 6 with a 3 speed manual (3 on the tree). What a great story and a super lady!!

Steve, thanks for a great story. Goes to show you should not always listen to "conventional wisdom" offered by a lot of folks. Although seniors have challenges, I would sometimes rather be on the road with an 80 year old than some of the kids texting and on their cell phones while driving. My mom is 87 and drives a BRIGHT yellow two door 08 Jeep Rubicon. She just had a physical and passed with flying colors to renew her license. I hope we all make it that far. Thanks again. G.
