Coolant bypass hose?

I have an 05 3500. Almost 100,000 miles so I'm getting ready to change the coolant, hoses, belt, idler, etc. The only coolant hoses listed in the auto stores are upper, lower and 2 heater. Does anyone know if there are any small bypass hoses on the engine besides the four I listed? I wouldn't want to have a weak link in my system. I did notice two rubber hoses on the lower part of the engine on each side. Does anyone know what these hoses are? One of them appears to be a transmission fluid hose.

There is no coolant bypass hose like there was on an old 318. The bypass passage is internal. That is why the thermostat has either a tapered seat or a disc on the back side of it. It closes off the internal passage in the block when the stat opens. There a couple of small hoses that are for the pipe that goes from below the alt to the heater hose. There are below the exhaust manifold and hard to see. If you have an Auto trans then there will be some for the trans cooler on the side of the engine. Shad

Or you can get a complete set of silicone hoses an clamps including the cac hoses from Mr Bobs distributing. They are lifetime quality hoses. I run them on both my trucks no more hose worries
