Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Coolant flush....oil

I had a head gasket go one of our 24valves, what is the best way to get all the oil out of the coolant system? Is there any thing else I need to do? I will defiantly do a full oil change.

I had this happen on a Ford IDI Diesel. I used dishwasher detergent, not liquid, but powder. Put in a scoop, fill up with water and drive for 10 minutes. I drained and repeated about 3 times, and then flushed with clear water and then filled up with 50/50 antifreeze. Had no oil spots show up after that.
